What is the Ballon d'Or AI trend?

The Ballon d'Or is the football award France Football has presented since 1956, and the 2026 ceremony is on October 26. In October the Ballon d'Or trend took off on TikTok and CapCut: people post an AI photo of themselves on the gala stage, holding the golden ball as if they had just won it, and call the look the Ballon d'Or filter.

This page makes that Ballon d'Or AI photo, also searched as a golden ball AI photo, from one selfie. The prompt describes a large shining golden football trophy rather than the real one, dresses you for a gala, adds golden spotlights and confetti, and asks for no text and no logos. Every Ballon d'Or AI trend picture here starts from your own photo, never from a real winner's.

Gala stage with the golden ball

Keep the person from the photo exactly: same face, hair, skin tone and body. Place them on a grand football awards gala stage, holding a large shining golden football trophy with both hands at chest height, a proud smile; dressed in an elegant black tuxedo or black evening gown, golden spotlights, a dark theatre with warm bokeh behind, confetti in the air, photographed like a red-carpet press photo. No text, no logos, no letters anywhere; nobody else in focus. The person is an adult, fully dressed.

How to write a Ballon d'Or filter prompt

Start with “Keep the person from the photo exactly”: the same face, hair, skin tone and body.
Describe the trophy instead of naming it: a large shining golden football trophy, held with both hands at chest height.
Dress for a gala: a black tuxedo or a black evening gown.
Set the stage: golden spotlights, a dark theatre with warm bokeh, confetti in the air, shot like a red-carpet press photo.
End with “No text, no logos, no letters anywhere”, so no real name or brand appears in the picture.

FAQ

Is it free to use these prompts?

Copying a prompt is free. Making it here uses 40 credits for one Nano Banana 2.1 image at 1K, so the 100 credits you get when you sign up make 2. On monthly plans Starter pays 32 credits an image and Pro 20. Unlimited makes Nano Banana 2.1 images without using credits.

What photo works best for the Ballon d'Or filter?

A selfie or front-facing photo of one adult with a clear face. The prompt keeps your face, hair, skin tone and build, and draws the stage, the trophy and the outfit around you.

Can I use a photo of a footballer or a celebrity?

No. Use your own photo, or a photo of someone who has agreed to it. Photos of famous players or other public figures are not allowed.

Is this affiliated with the Ballon d'Or or France Football?

No. Vidlark is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Ballon d'Or, France Football or UEFA. The name only says which trend this is; the trophy in the pictures is a generic golden football trophy, and the pictures are our own.

How many credits does a Ballon d'Or AI photo use?

One picture is one Nano Banana 2.1 image at 1K. The credits it uses are in the first question on this list and on the Generate button, so you see the price before you press it.

Can I turn the picture into a video?

Yes. Under your result, tap Animate it: the picture opens on image to video as the first frame, and you can make a short clip of it.

Can I change the outfit or the stage?

Yes. Edit the prompt before you press Generate: a white dinner jacket, a red gown, a stadium at night. Keep “no text, no logos” at the end.

How long does it take?

About one to two minutes for one picture. It is saved in My creations, so you can leave the page while it works.

Do I need an account?

Not to read or copy a prompt. To make it here, sign up for a free account: the card, the prompt and your photos are still there when you come back.
