Which photos work best

A clear face
The prank works when friends recognise you: a sharp, front-facing photo works best.
Half or full body
Either is fine: the template walks you from your seat up onto the stage.
Evening wear is added
Whatever you wear in the photo, the template dresses you for the gala; your face and hair stay yours.

What is the ballon d'or ai prank?

The Ballon d'Or is a famous football award, and this year's ceremony is on October 26. The ballon d'or ai prank is a video where you are the one called up as the winner, fun to send to friends and watch them look twice. It is a joke made with AI, not real footage.

Our template makes it from one photo: a 12-second vertical clip where you sit in the gala audience, look surprised when your name is called, walk up onto the stage and lift a golden football trophy as the crowd applauds. You keep your own face and hair; the evening wear, the gala and the trophy come with the template. People also look for it as win ballon d'or ai.

Questions

Is the ballon d'or ai prank free?

No. A template video uses 750 credits at 480p (1,500 in HD), about $10 with a credit pack. Starter and Pro plans pay half (375) and Unlimited pays 30%: 225 credits a video, about $2.25. The 100 free credits you get when you sign up are not enough for one video.

Is the video real?

No. It is a prank video made with AI from your photo: the gala, the crowd and the trophy are drawn by the AI, and the trophy is a generic golden football trophy with no names or logos. Vidlark is not affiliated with the Ballon d'Or or France Football.

Will it keep my outfit?

No, unlike most of our templates: you are put in formal evening wear for the gala, such as a tuxedo or an evening look. Your face and hair are yours.

Does the video have sound?

Yes: the clip’s own sound, the applause and the gala music, is mixed in, so you can send or post it as it is.

How do I prank my friends with it?

Send it before or after this year’s ceremony, as if you just got the news, and wait for the replies. If anyone asks, say it is a joke: it is an AI video, and the fun is in the double take.

Whose photo can I use?

Adults only: photos of children are not supported. Your own, or a friend’s who agreed to it. No famous people, and no photos of real footballers. Uploads go through an automatic safety check.

Can I post it?

Yes. Your ballon d'or ai prank is a finished 12-second vertical video with the sound mixed in, so you can post it to TikTok as it is. Saying in the caption that it is an AI prank keeps anyone from taking it as news.
