Retro AI photo
90s Yearbook AI turns one adult photo into a 1990s yearbook portrait: a head-and-shoulders shot against the mottled blue laser backdrop, soft studio flash, a denim jacket or a plaid blazer, a 90s version of your hairstyle, a warm smile, faint film grain and slightly faded colours. Your face, hair colour and skin tone stay, and the prompt shows you as a grown adult. 90s yearbook photos AI, no time machine.

90s yearbook AI: a denim jacket and a laser backdrop
1 photo · Nano Banana 2.1 · 40 credits
The 90s AI yearbook trend turns today’s photo into a school portrait from the 1990s: the laser or mottled backdrop every photographer used, the soft flash, feathered hair, denim and plaid. It took off as a way to see yourself in the decade, and people share the results side by side with the original.
This page makes it from one photo of an adult. The prompts say “shown as a grown adult”, so you keep your age, face, hair colour and skin tone; only the outfit, the hairstyle and the look of the photo go back to the 90s. Photos of children are not supported.
One adult photo; the backdrop, the outfit and the film look are in the prompt.
The prompts behind the two cards: copy one, or open it with your photo and press Generate.
1990s high school yearbook portrait of the person from the photo, shown as a grown adult: head-and-shoulders shot against a mottled blue laser backdrop, soft studio flash, a 90s denim jacket over a plain tee, slightly feathered 90s version of their hairstyle, a warm closed-mouth smile, faint film grain and slightly faded colors. Keep the face, hair color and skin tone exactly as in the photo. Photorealistic, vertical 3:4. No text, no logos, no watermark.
