The Raindance AI trend took off on TikTok and Instagram Reels at the end of September 2026. It copies the look of the Raindance music video: a wooden pier with old tire fenders, a calm sea, low golden light and a 4:3 frame that feels like film. Most posts are duets, a couple or two friends, with the song added on TikTok.

Is the Raindance AI video free?

No. A template video uses 750 credits at 480p (1,500 in HD), about $10 with a credit pack. Starter and Pro plans pay half (375) and Unlimited pays 30%: 225 credits a video, about $2.25. The 100 free credits you get when you sign up are not enough for one video.

Does the Raindance AI video include the song?

No. The clip comes without music so you can post it anywhere. On TikTok, upload it, tap Add sound and pick the Raindance sound the trend videos use. We never add the song ourselves.

Who goes on the pier and who sings?

Photo one is always the person on the pier; photo two is the singer in the sea, who also ends the clip pointing at the camera. Both sit together on the sand at dusk. Swap the photos to swap the roles.

Can I make it with one photo?

Not this template: it is a duet, made for two people, and each photo is one of them. The two photos can be any two people who agreed to it, a couple, friends or family.

Whose photos can I use?
