The trend follows "Bad Times" by Imael Angel. The original lip-sync video by @bouuhyachaka plays like an argument with the person holding the phone, filmed in one take. It became one of the most copied trends on TikTok this fall.
The routine points at the camera, puts both hands on the head, raises a hand as if to say "wait", tilts the head and ends with a rush at the lens. AI versions put a pet or another person into that performance.
