What is a cake smash prank video?

A cake smash prank video is the classic birthday joke: as someone leans in to blow out the candles, a friend gives a gentle push and their face lands in the cake. Everyone laughs, the birthday person most of all.

Our template is an original AI-made version, a good-natured prank. From one photo you keep your face, hair and outfit; the office, the cake, the coworkers, the confetti and the timing come with the template. Nobody gets a real cake in the face.

Questions

Is the Funny Birthday Video Maker free?

No. A template video uses 750 credits at 480p (1,500 in HD), about $10 with a credit pack. Starter and Pro plans pay half (375) and Unlimited pays 30%: 225 credits a video, about $2.25. The 100 free credits you get when you sign up are not enough for one video.

Is it a mean prank?

No: the push is gentle, the cake is soft, and the one with the cake comes up laughing with everyone else. It is a good-natured birthday joke.

Can I make it for a friend’s birthday?

Yes, with a photo they agreed to: whoever is in the photo is the one with the cake. It makes a funny happy birthday video to send them.

Who are the people around?

Coworkers from the template who cheer and laugh. They stay the same in every video; only the one with the cake comes from your photo.

Whose photo can I use?

Adults only: photos of children are not supported. Your own, or a friend’s who agreed to it. No famous people. Uploads go through an automatic safety check.

Can I post my funny birthday video maker video?

Yes. It is a finished 8-second vertical video with the sound mixed in, so you can post it to TikTok as it is.

Does the video have sound?

Yes: your video comes with the clip’s sound, mixed in. If TikTok flags the sound for copyright, swap in a sound from TikTok’s sound library when you post.
