What is a birthday video for grandma?

A birthday video for grandma is a short clip that puts grandma, or whoever you are celebrating, at the centre of the party: the crown, the cake, the candles and a room of friends cheering. It is made to post on the day, send to the family chat or play at the party.

The happy birthday grandma video template is a birthday party in a party room: a paper crown and a sash, a happy dance with arms in the air, then the candles on the cake. From one photo the birthday guest is your grandma, grandpa or any adult you are celebrating, with their own face, hair and clothes; the crown, the sash, the room and every move come with the template.

Questions

Is the Happy Birthday Grandma Video free?

No. A template video uses 750 credits at 480p (1,500 in HD), about $10 with a credit pack. Starter and Pro plans pay half (375) and Unlimited pays 30%: 225 credits a video, about $2.25. The 100 free credits you get when you sign up are not enough for one video.

Does it have to be a grandma?

No. Any adult works: grandpa, mom, an aunt or a friend. The happy birthday grandma video is named for grandma because that is how most people search for it.

Can the cake show a different age?

No. The cake and its gold number topper come from the template, and the topper reads 88; the prompt keeps it as it is, so it is not set to another age.

Where do the crown and the sash come from?

From the template. The prompt asks for the paper crown and the birthday sash over the birthday guest’s own clothes; the face, hair and outfit stay from the photo.

Whose photo can I use?

Adults only: photos of children are not supported. Your own, or a friend’s who agreed to it. No famous people. Uploads go through an automatic safety check.

Can I post my happy birthday grandma video?

Yes. It is a finished 15-second vertical video with the sound mixed in, so you can post it to TikTok as it is.

Does the video have sound?

Yes: your video comes with the clip’s sound, mixed in. If TikTok flags the sound for copyright, swap in a sound from TikTok’s sound library when you post.
