How to make a Veo 3.1 Fast video

  1. 1

    Describe the shot

Write who is in the scene, what happens and how the camera moves. Or upload a photo to start from it.

  2. 2

    Pick the settings

Choose the aspect ratio, 720p / 1080p. The credits update before you generate.

  3. 3

    Generate and download

Each run renders one video, ready to download (no watermark on paid plans); if a run fails, its credits are refunded.

What it does well

Text to video

Describe the people, the action and the camera, and the whole shot is rendered from your words. No footage needed.

Image to video

Upload a still as the first frame and bring it to life while the composition, the faces and the light stay the same.

Consistent characters

Add reference images of a person or a product and keep them the same across new scenes, angles and shots.

Sound in the same pass

Dialogue, effects and ambience are generated with the picture, so there is nothing to dub afterwards.

Settings and prices

Each video has a fixed price; the button always shows the exact total before you generate.

Prompt tips for better videos

  • Lead with the subject and the action

Start with who or what is on screen and what changes during the clip: "a chef flips a pancake", not "cooking". One clear action per shot gives the steadiest motion.

  • Name one camera move

Pick one: slow push-in, tracking shot, orbit or handheld. Say where it starts and where it ends; stacking several moves in a short clip tends to look jittery.

  • Set the light, the lens and the mood

Golden hour, neon night or soft studio light; a 35mm wide shot or an 85mm close-up. These words change the look far more than "beautiful" or "cinematic" on their own.

  • Write the sound you want

Put dialogue in quotes and list the sounds: footsteps on gravel, rain on a window, a crowd cheering. They are generated together with the picture.

Example prompt

A cyclist rides through a rainy neon street at night, puddles splashing under the wheels. Slow tracking shot from the side, 35mm, reflections on the wet asphalt. Sound: rain, tires on water, distant traffic.

What people make with it

01

Social clips

Vertical shorts and hooks for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. Try several openings from one idea before you post.

02

Product ads

Turn one product shot into several angles and scenes, and test different hooks without a new shoot each time.

03

Storyboards

Turn a storyboard into moving previews before the shoot, so the team and the client agree on pacing and framing.

04

Character stories

Keep one character across scenes for a series, a short drama or a recurring brand mascot.

What happens if a generation fails?

The credits for a failed run go back to your balance automatically, and you can try again with a different prompt or setting.

No. It is made by Google; we are an independent platform that runs it next to other video and image models with one credit balance.

Which aspect ratios are supported?

16:9, 9:16. When you start from a photo, the clip keeps the photo’s shape.
