What is the my girl trend?

In the clip behind the my girl trend on TikTok, a hand covers the camera, someone says "My girl", and the hand drops to show a couple dressed as a cowboy toy and a shepherdess doll, a nod to Woody and Bo Peep from Toy Story. The my girl AI couple trend lets any couple make it from their photos.

Our template makes it from two photos, one each: you both keep your faces and hair, and the template dresses Photo 1 as the cowboy toy and Photo 2 as the shepherdess doll. The cover, the reveal and the costumes come with it; nobody else is in the shot.

Questions

Is the my girl trend AI free?

No. A template video uses 750 credits at 480p (1,500 in HD), about $10 with a credit pack. Starter and Pro plans pay half (375) and Unlimited pays 30%: 225 credits a video, about $2.25. The 100 free credits you get when you sign up are not enough for one video.

Who becomes which character?

Photo 1 becomes the cowboy toy, Photo 2 the shepherdess doll. Any two adults can take either costume: swap the photos to switch.

Do the costumes come from the template?

Yes: the template dresses you both in the costumes, a brown hat, red bandana and cow-print vest for one, a high-necked pink polka-dot dress and bonnet for the other. Your faces and hair stay as in your photos.

Do we both need to agree?

Yes. Adults only: photos of children are not supported. Upload a photo of a partner or friend only if they agreed to it. Uploads go through an automatic safety check.

Is it the Toy Story characters?

The costumes are a nod to Woody and Bo Peep from Toy Story, as in the original clip. Our video uses no film footage or character images, and it is not an official Disney or Pixar product.

Does the video have sound?

Yes: your video comes with the trend’s sound, so you can post it to TikTok as it is. If TikTok flags the sound for copyright, swap in the same song from TikTok’s sound library when you post.
