What is the otsukare summer dance?

"Otsukare SUMMER" is a 2003 song by the Japanese duo HALCALI, from their album Halcali Bacon. In 2025 it blew up on TikTok, with countless dance videos, including many pet versions such as the otsukare summer cat.

Our otsukare summer ai template makes it from one photo of your pet, a cat or a dog: its fur, markings and face come from your photo, and the peach set, the cotton clouds, the knitted vest and the dance come with the template. Your pet never has to stand up or wear a thing.

Questions

Is otsukare summer ai free?

No. A template video uses 750 credits at 480p (1,500 in HD), about $10 with a credit pack. Starter and Pro plans pay half (375) and Unlimited pays 30%: 225 credits a video, about $2.25. The 100 free credits you get when you sign up are not enough for one video.

What song is the trend from?

"Otsukare SUMMER", a 2003 song by the Japanese duo HALCALI from their album Halcali Bacon. It blew up on TikTok in 2025.

Does it work with dogs?

Yes. The template takes one pet photo, a cat or a dog, with the whole pet in frame. Our sample is a cat.

Whose photo can I use?

Pet photos only: your own cat or dog, one pet per photo, the whole pet in frame and no people in it. Uploads go through an automatic safety check.

Does my pet need to wear a vest?

No. The knitted vest is drawn by the AI, like the set and the dance: the photo is all the template needs.

Can I post it?

Yes. Your otsukare summer ai clip is a finished 10-second vertical video, so you can post it to TikTok as it is.

Does the video have sound?

Yes: your video comes with the clip’s sound, so you can post it as it is. If TikTok flags the sound for copyright, swap in the same song from TikTok’s sound library when you post.
