Which photos work best

Full body

Your outfit stays
You keep the clothes from your photo; only the black fedora is added.

What is the moonwalk?

The moonwalk is the move where you glide backwards while your feet seem to walk forward. Michael Jackson made it famous: he first performed it on TV at Motown 25 in 1983. He popularised the move; he did not invent it.

Our ai moonwalk dance template works as a moonwalk dance generator: from one photo you keep your face, hair and outfit, put on the template’s black fedora and glide down a sunny old European street. Any adult who agreed to it works too, so you can make anyone moonwalk. This page is the moonwalk alone, in 7 seconds; Michael Jackson AI Dance is a whole dance routine.

Questions

Is the ai moonwalk dance free?

No. A template video uses 750 credits at 480p (1,500 in HD), about $10 with a credit pack. Starter and Pro plans pay half (375) and Unlimited pays 30%: 225 credits a video, about $2.25. The 100 free credits you get when you sign up are not enough for one video.

Who invented the moonwalk?

Michael Jackson made it famous and first performed it on TV at Motown 25 in 1983, but he popularised the move rather than invented it.

How is it different from Michael Jackson AI Dance?

This one is the moonwalk alone: 7 seconds on a sunny old street, with a hat tip. Michael Jackson AI Dance is a whole dance routine in his style.

Do I need a hat in my photo?

No. The black fedora comes with the template; the rest of your outfit stays as it is in your photo.

Whose photo can I use?

Adults only: photos of children are not supported. Your own, or a friend’s who agreed to it. No famous people. Uploads go through an automatic safety check.

Does the video have sound?

Yes: your video comes with the clip’s sound, so you can post it to TikTok as it is. If TikTok flags the sound for copyright, pick a sound from TikTok’s library when you post.
